Hell, or any place of otherworldly punishment, is a demonstrably immoral construct that any moral God would never create or need.

If you answer these honestly, you will agree.

Is it just for a man to only be able to sin for 120 years and then have to spend eternity in punishment and torture?

Punishment is given to change actions and attitudes in character. Repentance, in other words.
Is it just to punish or torture if these cannot be accomplished?

Would death then not be the moral thing to do?

I watched the vids you supplied, and I just had to make this comment....

Why is it that you can find a very obvious truth within what was presented in the videos...and still cling to the notion of god(s) at all?

Is it that you just can't let it go?

You find a proof, or something that rings true in a video( spoken of and created by a man), and you still believe the rest of the same type of rhetoric contained in books written by men? ,ie:
"hell is just a construct, fake, but the rest of it...the REST of what remains of the the other half of the construct..now THAT is real!, LET THE HEAVEN BEGIN!, GOD?...HERE I COME!"

Sorry, but I can't help but to include just a bit of sarcasm there.

I get that your Gnostic..or at some time I seem to recall you saying you had left that as a "belief of knowledge" and set out on your own sort of ...path, for lack of a better term.I understand you have some of your own thought on this....but from the body of your posts, you still seem pretty theist oriented.

Thats fine, its your head.

Still, I have to ask, if the notion of hell(not being real) seems so completely logical and reasonable...if you can make that connection in one area, why not the other?

If hell is such an obvious addition to the Judaic beliefs, and its presence in other belief systems of god belief(which I take you don't believe in those gods or hells either), why is it you choose to buy into the one you do?

Just a thought.

I use the Bible as a tool to fight belief, not encourage it.

I have no belief at all in Bible God. He is a myth within a book of myths.

I do have a Gnostic Christian bend and at one time thought this my best label but have changed to Deist as a better fit even as I do not follow all of their beliefs.

The Godhead that I know is a part of nature and is more of a non interfering cosmic consciousness. It is our next evolutionary step.
I found it through forcing my apotheosis or rapprochement to the Godhead. This is no miracle working entity BTW.
I have no proof of this and have no dogma to push.

I am more interested in correcting those I see thinking poorly and that is why I post as I do.

For evil to grow, all good men need do is nothing.
I do not want to be seen as doing nothing. I want to be, and hopefully will be, a good man some day.
I am a good man WIP.
